11-year-old girl shot while in the back of a vehicle at Hilltop
The 11-year-old was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover, police said.

An 11-year-old girl was shot while in the back of a vehicle Sunday afternoon, Columbus police said.
Police said the shooting happened around 1:42 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Mound Street.
The mother reportedly told officers that her daughter was shot while in the back seat. Police listed the suspect in a media release as being between 15 and 17 years old.
The 11-year-old was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover, police said.
