15-year-old Tre’Sean Jackson killed in shooting in city’s Allentown neighborhood

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.

The victim of a fatal shooting in Allentown on Tuesday has been identified as 15-year-old Tre’Sean Jackson.

He was located with a gunshot wound to the chest near Loyal Way and Harcourt Way, and was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

On Tuesday evening, a shooting incident was reported in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood.

Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of Beltzhoover Avenue at 5:10 p.m. and found a male victim with a chest wound near Loyal Way and Harcourt Way.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

At present, no suspect information is available and the investigation is being carried out by the Violent Crime Unit detectives.
