18-year-old Curtis Wilson arrested for his role in the Castleton Mall shooting

Curtis Wilson, an 18-year-old who was injured in the Castleton Mall shooting, has been apprehended by detectives investigating the case of aggravated assault.
Wilson was treated at the hospital before being taken into custody.
The incident occurred due to a conflict between two groups or an individual and a group of people. Mall security confiscated a firearm at the scene.
While IMPD confirms that Curtis Wilson was arrested, it contradicts Simon Malls’ statement claiming that the suspects had been detained.
IMPD is currently seeking to talk to other individuals involved in the incident.

An incident of gunfire has occurred at Castleton Square Mall, located at 6020 E. 82nd Street in Indianapolis.
Authorities from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at around 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots.
One individual has been confirmed to have been shot near the mall, although the current status of the victim’s health is unknown.
According to a tweet from the department at around 3:50 p.m., responding officers applied a tourniquet to the victim and transported them to a nearby hospital.
