18-year-old Miles Pfeffer arrested in connection to the shooting death of a Temple University police officer Christopher Fitzgerald
Pfeffer was taken into custody using the fallen officer’s handcuffs.

Sources report that 18-year-old Miles Pfeffer was arrested at his family’s residence in Bucks County, and it is said that he was detained with a set of Fitzgerald’s handcuffs.
Officer Chris Fitzgerald, aged 31, was fatally shot on Saturday night at the intersection of 17th and W. Montgomery Ave while on duty as a Temple Police Officer.
Pfeffer is facing several charges, including murder, murder of a law enforcement officer, robbery, carjacking, possession of an instrument of crime, and other related offenses.


The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office believes that Pfeffer encountered Officer Chris Fitzgerald on Saturday night while investigating an incident near Temple’s campus.
The police suspect that Pfeffer attempted to rob the officer of his firearm and went through his pockets.
Following the officer’s murder, it’s alleged that Pfeffer committed a carjacking in the same vicinity.
Miles K. Pfeffer, of Buckingham, Bucks County, who just turned 18 last month has 24 charges topped by Murder & Criminal Homicide of a Law Enforcement Officer Chris Fitzgerald.
