19-year-old woman killed, 4 others injured in shooting during Fredo Bang concert

During the early hours of Sunday morning, there was a shooting at a concert in Newport.

It was approximately 2:30 in the morning when a call was made to the authorities, as stated by Chief of Police Larry Dulaney and Lieutenant Mark Harmon. A female victim, age 19, was found dead, and four other people were found shot. One of the victims was transported to a nearby hospital for additional medical care.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
