2 victims pulled from burning house in Garfield Heights
Two people have died and two have been rescued from a house fire in Garfield Heights this morning.
A Cleveland house fire claimed two victims Tuesday morning, a one-month-old girl and a one-year-old boy. Their mother and three other children were able to escape.
Firefighters arrived at a home on Jeffries Ave. and extinguished the flames after 10 a.m.
The local firefighters’ union said crews are searching for any potential victims who may have been trapped inside the house. Two victims were pulled from the home, but their conditions are not known at this time.
The Cuyahoga County medical examiner was requested to the scene.
Police are keeping the street closed for their investigation.
