On Thursday, two individuals were hurt in a shooting that occurred during midday at a restaurant in Uptown Minneapolis.
The police received a call at noon reporting shots fired and a gunman on the 1300 block of Lagoon Avenue.
According to dispatch audio, the caller saw a male shoot at another male, with the shots potentially having been fired inside the restaurant.
When the police arrived, they found two individuals inside the Breakfast Klub restaurant with gunshot wounds.
One victim was shot in the arm, and the police immediately applied a tourniquet. The other victim was shot in the side, and both had entry and exit wounds.
The wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.
A search was conducted for two suspects, one of whom was said to be wearing a red hat and black jacket and fled towards the Greenway.
Dispatch audio also indicated that one of the shooters entered the restaurant and started shooting.
One of the victims was reported to have a gun, and the police recovered a firearm from inside the business.
