21-year-old Heavonlei Grant shot and killed on Finespun Last
A 19-year-old Virginia Beach resident, Jaiden Litton, was taken into custody.
An investigation into a homicide that occurred on February 28 is underway by the Virginia Beach Police Department.
A call was received by police at 2:32 p.m. reporting a shooting at the 5000 block of Finespun Last.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Heavonlei Grant, a 21-year-old Virginia Beach resident, with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Grant received immediate medical attention but succumbed to the injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old Virginia Beach resident, Jaiden Litton, was taken into custody and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
