26-year-old Alexandria Cress Borys killed in shooting at Irmo Kroger parking lot
According to the police, the victim and the shooter were not acquainted with each other, however, they had a conflict that took place in the parking lot.

Lexington County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a shooting at Kroger on St. Andrews Road as 26-year-old Alexandria Cress Borys, an Irmo resident.
According to Coroner Margaret Fisher, Borys was involved in an argument with a stranger and was shot, resulting in her death at the scene on Tuesday at around 4 p.m.
Christina Harrison, a 23-year-old resident of Columbia, has been charged with murder by Irmo Police after she left the scene and turned herself in at the Irmo Police Department.
The police have revealed that Borys and Harrison were not familiar with each other but had an altercation for undisclosed reasons.
The shooting has been described by Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale as a reckless decision, which has had a detrimental impact on the lives of both families.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and the coroner’s office, police investigators, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are working together on the case.
