During the funeral reception for Devin Scott, who was the victim of a stabbing incident at Harding High School, three individuals were shot at El Rio Vista Rec Center located on St. Paul’s West Side.
The shooting seems to have been a drive-by incident, with one vehicle fleeing the scene and crashing one mile away.
The suspects fled on foot, and currently, there is no one in custody for the crime.

Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher reported that during the funeral reception for Devin Scott, 15, at El Rio Vista Rec Center (also known as the Wellstone Center) on St. Paul’s west side, shots were fired at around 7:45 p.m., injuring the victims aged 14-17.
They were taken to Regions Hospital, and their injuries are not life-threatening. According to the St. Paul Police Department, shots were fired into the rec center from a passing sedan.
Shortly after the incident, a vehicle matching a similar description collided with another car on the 400 block of Clinton Avenue.
Two men fled the scene, and the police conducted a search operation but failed to locate the suspects.
It is currently being investigated whether the car involved in the collision was the same one used in the shooting. During the investigation, police stopped a 16-year-old boy with a handgun running away from the area of the shooting and took him into custody.
The police are investigating the extent of his involvement in the shooting.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call investigators at 651-266-5650.
