33-year-old Brad Evans charged with killing of brother Kenneth Evans

Charges have been brought by the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office in relation to the killing of a 36-year-old man.

On February 4th, Kenneth Evans was discovered deceased with gunshot wounds while sitting in the driver’s seat of a black Pontiac Grand Prix at the intersection of South Broadway and Bates Street.

According to the police, they received a report of a shooting and promptly dispatched officers to the scene. When they arrived at the intersection of S. Broadway and Bates, they discovered a collision involving two vehicles.

The driver of a black Pontiac Grand Prix was found to have sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was unresponsive. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned, and they pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The Homicide Division took charge of the investigation.

Homicide detectives from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department arrested the victim’s brother, 33-year-old Brad Evans, in connection with the shooting.

Brad Evans has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action, and he is currently being held in custody without bond.
