45-year-old Eric Haynes arrested for shooting involving an on-duty Philadelphia police officer Giovanni Maysonet
Philadelphia police identified one of the suspects charged in an officer’s shooting.

The police announced on Thursday just before noon that all the individuals wanted for the shooting that involved an on-duty Philadelphia police officer the day before have been apprehended.
At this time, no charges have been officially filed against any of the suspects.
On Wednesday evening, Eric Haynes, aged 45 and from Darby, Pennsylvania, was arrested for his involvement in the shooting.
The incident took place at around 3:30 p.m. on the 200 block of North 60th Street.
Police say the injured officer is Giovanni Maysonet. The 32-year-old officer is a 5-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, and is assigned to the 19th District.

The police stated that Haynes will likely face charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault of a law enforcement officer, firearms possession, and related offenses.
The officer is reportedly recovering.
