5 juveniles shot, 1 dead near Edmondson Village shopping center
Police are investigating a quintuple shooting outside the Popeyes restaurant in the area of the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in southwest Baltimore.

Five people were shot in the vicinity of the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in southwest Baltimore, and the police are currently investigating the incident.

UPDATE 12:45pm: Police confirm one victim has died, adding all victims were high school students in the area for their lunch break.
Police commissioner Michael Harrison says one of the five victims who was shot at the Edmondson village shopping center has died.
Five juveniles were shot outside of a Popeyes restaurant, according to Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison. Two people are thought to have fired multiple rounds at the victims.
In the incident that occurred outside of the Popeyes restaurant early on Wednesday morning, numerous persons were injured, as reported by the Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734.
Multiple sources have confirmed to FOX3 that some of the injured are children. There may have been as many as three victims sent to Sinai Hospital.
According to the testimony of one witness, they heard a number of gunshots and witnessed one of the victims receiving CPR.
There was no immediate disclosure of any other information.
