No active shooter situation at Blue Valley Northwest High School, Police says
There are reports of an active shooter at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas from member who was doing work at the school.

Overland Park police are looking for some people who may have something to do with car break-ins. This seems to have caused Blue Valley Northwest to lock down as a precaution.
At approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, the Overland Park Police Department alerted FOX3 that police were investigating the possibility of auto burglaries at the St. Andrews Golf Club located along W. 135th Street just to the east of Nieman Road.
It appears that the suspect or suspects fled the scene, and the police are currently working to track them down.
According to the Overland Park police, there is currently no cause to believe that the suspect or suspects are armed. FOX3 was informed by the authorities that there is not an active shooter incident at this location.
All the students are outside.
Students are running for the safe spot.
There are no reports of any injuries as of now.
