No threat found at Broward County Library in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to a complaint of an active shooter at Broward County Library in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The library has reopened. The library was temporarily locked down, but police determined there was no threat in the building.

All clear given.
According to initial report, there was a person who committed a robbery and had a gun who came towards the library and government center.
Police have set up a perimeter to search for a burglary suspect who fled from an officer. The Broward Governmental Center and Main Library are locked down while cops search for him.
Multiple officers were dispatched to conduct investigations.
Person wrote on twitter, “I work there – we are on lockdown in our offices and don’t know what’s going on– any outside info would help“.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
