Police respond to shooting at Subaru plant in Lafayette

The Subaru media relations manager provided confirmation to FOX3 at 5:27 p.m. that the plant had been given the all clear following the incident.

Police are investigating a shooting at the Subaru plant in Lafayette.
It has been confirmed that the Lafayette Police Department is looking into a shooting that occurred at the Subaru facility.
A short time later, a representative from Subaru issued a statement that the incident had been resolved and that there was no longer any risk to the general public.
The shooting resulted in the transportation of one victim, according to the police report. According to the police, it is believed that the suspect took his own life by hanging himself.
