Police responded to the reports of an active shooter at Walmart in Fredericksburg, Virginia

A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to a complaint of an active shooter at Walmart in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Reports of a male with a possible gun was received and units quickly responded to the Walmart in attempts to locate the individual.
The male never made any threats towards customers or staff.
Deputies evacuated the store as a precaution while carefully clearing the store of any threats.
With the assistance of Walmart management, it was determined that the subject left the property before law enforcements arrival.
The incident is still under investigation.”
