Active shooter reported at Walmart Supercenter in Harrison Rd, Macon, Georgia

There are unconfirmed reports of an active shooter at Walmart Supercenter in Harrison Rd, Macon, Georgia

On Harrison Road, deputies are responding to two separate incidents at Walmart and a nearby gas station.

The report was first routed as a shooting, however the Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that nobody was actually shot.

FOX3 crews arrive at the scene and observe a car that has collided with a tree, as deputies interrogate various individuals in relation to both occurrences.

At this moment, it is unknown if the two incidents are connected or if either scenario is connected to Friday’s shooting.

FOX3 crew did saw a handgun in the back of a pickup truck, but cops assure us no one was fired.

This inquiry is ongoing, and we will provide updates as new information becomes available.

A user post on Facebook, “Lawd my baby said they have an active shooter at Walmart and she’s at work where my AR 15 let me go get my baby”.

Another said, “Active Shooter @ Walmart on Harrison Rd. Be safe”.

In Friday’s shooting, 41 year old Ronnie Albea was shot and killed in a parking lot.

Two men approach a couple and demands their car keys. The couple said no, and the three men got into a fight.

One of the men shot 41 year old man in the chest. Paramedic arrived and man was taken to hospital but he later died.

No suspect has been arrested yet but Police said they are looking for two men in their early 20’s.

No other information has been provided.
