According to authorities, shots were fired inside the Wolfchase Galleria Mall on Wednesday afternoon, and two individuals are now on the run.
At 12:41 p.m., police officers responded to a report of shots fired.
According to the police, the gunfire originated from within the mall.
When authorities arrived, they were informed that no injuries had been recorded and no suspects had been apprehended.
This investigation is still ongoing.
A user posted on Facebook, “Just received a call from my sister Angela that there were shots fired at wolfchase mall where she works in Memphis….she is safe but please pray for this situation”.
Another person said on twitter, “I think we just heard a gunshot at Wolfchase mall. Maybe not, but all the stores have closed their doors.”
User post, “Shooting at Wolfchase I’m just leaving JCPennys after being locked in the store for 20 mins.”
