One person shot at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Suspect in custody

A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to a complaint of shooting at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Georgia.



Dunwoody Police have stated that a suspect has been taken into custody following a shooting that occurred on Friday evening at Perimeter Mall. A single injury has been reported, according to a post made by the Dunwoody Police Department on social media.

The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested and charged two males involved in the shooting that occurred at Perimeter Mall on 01/06/2023.

The two males are Roykell Holder (20 years old) and Raymond Pierre (21 years old).

Pierre was with Holder at the time of the shooting.

He fled the area with Holder and drove the vehicle away from the scene.

Their charges are as follows:

Roykell Holder:

  • Aggravated Battery
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
  • Reckless Conduct

Raymond Pierre:

  • Party to the Crime of Aggravated Battery
  • Reckless Conduct

The victim has been identified as Che’saun Lacey (18 years old) and remains in stable condition at Grady Hospital with serious injuries.

This investigation remains active and there are no other details at this time.

It has been reported by FOX3 that many units have been sent to the mall, which is located off of Ashford Dunwoody Road in Atlanta.

Dunwoody Police Department confirmed a shooting was recently reported at Perimeter Mall. One injury has been reported.

The police have stated that “this is an isolated event” and that “there is no active shooter at this time.” Because an investigation is currently taking place in the area, they have requested that everyone stay away from there.

Heavy police activity reported following a possible shooting at Perimeter Mall. Eyewitnesses say customers, employees hiding in back of Apple Store.

Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
