On Saturday, deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a situation that occurred at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Brandon.

At approximately five o’clock in the evening, deputies responded to multiple callers reporting shots fired at the Chuck E. Cheese located at 1540 West Brandon Boulevard, as stated in a press statement issued by the sheriff’s office. A fight broke out inside the restaurant, according to the HCSO, and that’s when everything started.

When a lady pulled out a gun “within the foyer of Chuck E. Cheese,” a private security guard was trying to convince the crowd to move the dispute outdoors. HCSO reported that the guard attempted to take the gun away from her, but she was able to dump it outside of the building.

Another woman allegedly took up the gun and fired at least one shot into the air, according to the sheriff’s office. She misplaced the gun as well. It was taken by a third woman, who put it inside a light-gray Chevrolet Traverse.

According to HCSO, all three ladies were detained and no victims of the incident have been found. A male who was a part of the altercation was also detained.

According to the sheriff’s office, the group was arguing when a white Audi slammed into the building’s front. A toddler, two ladies, and a non-life-threatening injury required transportation to the hospital. A male motorist was reportedly also transported to the hospital by HCSO, though deputies are unsure of his exact role in the event.

During the time that the group was fighting, the sheriff’s office reported that a white Audi had collided with the front of the building. A toddler and two ladies were rushed to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. HCSO reported that a male motorist was also sent to the hospital, although law enforcement officials are unsure of his role in the event at this time.
