27-year-old Marshall Curtis Jones had been charged with Alexis Gabe’s murder, police say

According to Oakley police, Alexis Gabe’s ex-boyfriend was slain by law enforcement in Seattle on Wednesday.
Multiple policemen shot and killed 27-year-old Antioch resident Marshall Curtis Jones after he charged them with a knife at a home in the Seattle suburb of Kent, Washington, according to Seattle police.
Jones, the man accused of killing Gabe, died at the scene, according to authorities.
Police believe Jones was the last person Gabe saw before she vanished.
Seattle police said that a warrant was served at a home in Kent where they thought a “murder suspect on the run” was living. Jones attacked the officers with a knife when they knocked on the door and told them who they were, police said. A police detective, a sheriff’s deputy, and a U.S. Marshal all shot him.
Members of the Pacific Northwest Violent Offenders Task Force were involved in the investigation.
There is still a lot of work to be done, authorities said.
