Amber alert issued for two missing children Alaina Wilson and Chance Wilson from Somersworth

The New Hampshire State Police have reported that two children who were the subject of an Amber Alert on Friday have been discovered safe in Maine and that their mother has been arrested in connection with their disappearance.

On Friday morning, the New Hampshire State Police issued an Amber Alert for two missing children from the town of Somersworth.

Missing:

  • Alaina Wilson, 11
  • Chase Wilson, 8

Wanted:

  • Kaileigh Nichols, 32

Car information:

  • Gray 2009 Honda Civic
  • Maine veterans license plate 2827A7

Aliana Wilson, 11, and Chase Wilson, 8, have been missing since 9:45 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Investigators believe they were last seen at their Colonial Village Park home around 7:30 p.m. on the night of their disappearance.

There are suspicions that their mother eluded capture by removing Aliana and Chase via a window. They claimed that the children were being raised by their grandmother, who is the legal guardian of the children’s welfare.

Nichols was reportedly last seen operating a grey 2009 Honda Civic that she had stolen from a relative in Maine, according to the police. They added that Nichols was observed in the automobile during the day on Thursday at a school event that took place in Somersworth. The license plate for the vehicle is 2827A7 from the state of Maine (veterans plate).

It is estimated that Alaina Wilson stands between 5 feet 1 and 5 feet 2 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes, and weighs 96 pounds. Chance Wilson has been characterized as having brown hair, brown eyes, and a weight of 68 pounds. He is between 4 feet 6 inches and 4 feet 10 inches tall.

The 32-year-old Kaileigh Nichols is said to have brown hair, brown eyes, and to stand 5 feet 1 inch tall. She weighs 125 pounds. According to the police, she has a problem with drug addiction and it is well known that she has mental health concerns.
