Chris Flores was arrested for sexual assault of a minor, as well as other allegations stemming from sexual assault of other minors.

On Thursday, a well-known athletic trainer was arrested in Southern California on suspicion of sexually assaulting underage females. The allegations against him were made public earlier this week.
Bellflower resident Chris Flores, age 37, was taken into custody during a routine traffic stop after a warrant had been issued for his arrest in connection with the sexual misconduct of a juvenile.
After receiving reports that a notable trainer had inappropriately touched and groomed two juveniles, the police decided to launch an investigation into the matter.
According to Santa Ana police, allegations against Flores began to circulate after leaked voice recordings between him and a 14-year-old girl surfaced on social media.
In the call audio acquired exclusively by ABC7, a male voice is heard asking, “Did you remove anything?” while the youngster verifies the texts were deleted.
The male voice then follows through by asking her out on a date, but the female responds by declining his invitation.
“What the bloody hell? “We never get the chance to just hang around, and now you don’t want to go, even though school is about to start,” the guy stated. “So quit acting like such an idiot.”
The voice that was heard in the audio communications was identified as belonging to Flores by the police. The young woman reported to the Santa Ana police department that Flores, who had been her coach, had sexually attacked her on many occasions during the year 2021.
Flores, also known by his nickname “Coach Frogg,” has ties to a number of well-known college and professional athletes because many of them have trained or collaborated with him in the past.
Former NFL cornerback Jason David expressed dissatisfaction in an Instagram video message, stating he would cut relations with the trainer throughout the probe.
According to ESPN, David and Flores developed an athletic program that was titled STARS Prep Academy in 2017. They worked together as coaches and founded the program in 2017.
David posted on Instagram, saying, “Never in a million years would I ever contemplate publishing a public statement to address sexual assault claims involving Mr. Flores and our innocent little kids. “I feel nauseous to the core. I’m repulsed. I’m furious.
Flores is now being processed at the Orange County Jail, and a bail amount of $500,000 has been established for him.
The police suspect there are further victims and are asking anyone with information on Flores to come forward.
