Supt. Zaiham was commenting on a video that was going around the internet showing a man speaking in Hokkien.
In the video, the man queries why the casino is closed and speculates that a heist or a fire is to blame.
The individual asserts furthermore that the cable car service had been terminated, and that customers are unable to check into their rooms since the counters are closed.
According to the statements made by Supt. Zaiham, “We appeal for the cooperation of everyone not to make any conjecture or propagate false information that may cause discomfort or disturb public order.”
