The flags at the White House, government buildings, and military facilities will be flown at half-staff in memory of the victims of a Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday.

Proclamation was issued by the White House just hours after the tragedy, which left at least 18 Children and 3 Adults. The White House, public buildings, military sites, and U.S. embassies and consulates around the world were ordered to fly their flags at half-staff “as a gesture of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence.”
As the White House has claimed, Vice President Joe Biden was briefed on the mass shooting while flying back from Asia. He is slated to offer statements on the horrific shooting later Tuesday evening.
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted, “His prayers are with the families impacted by this terrible occurrence.”.
A shooter opened fire inside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, killing 18 Children and three adults, according to Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R). The gunman, identified by Abbott as Salvador Ramos, 18, has reportedly been dead.
Biden has addressed the second deadly massacre in less than two weeks. Ten persons were killed in the shooting.
