A BODY of a young girl, aged four years old, was discovered in a forested area, and the authorities have begun their investigation.
The body of a kid was discovered on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
On Chevy Chase Boulevard, just before 2:30 in the afternoon, the sheriff’s office was contacted in response to a missing child complaint for a youngster aged 4 years old.
According to Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis, deputies responded to the location within around ten minutes of getting the report. The search for the youngster was initiated when the deputies had a conversation with the family and obtained a description of the missing child.
Within a short period of time, investigators discovered the body of the youngster in a forested area that was located behind a house.
An inquiry into the death is currently under process. There are a number of police cars from the sheriff’s office, as well as a van from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, and forensics vehicles parked along Chevy Chase Boulevard.
