A YOUNG boy Bruce Johnson Jr revealed the identity of his killer in his final moments after being brutally stabbed in his bed, according to police.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Bruce Johnson Jr., who is 11 years old, reported to the police that he had been assaulted by his own mother.

After receiving “several” stab wounds, he passed away not long after the incident.

When the boy’s father, Bruce Sr., heard his kid yelling for help in their home in Hobbs, New Mexico, he immediately ran to his son’s side and called the emergency services.

Then, in another room, Bruce Jr.’s mother, Mary Johnson, 49, who was his estranged wife, was discovered with chest stab wounds.

“Mr. Johnson told deputies that he was sleeping when he heard his son screaming,” the Lea County Sheriff’s Office said.

They went on to say that he discovered his kid suffering from stab wounds in his room, where the boy was lying on his bed.

“When he saw that Mary had also been stabbed, he went to contact 911; however, he found that she was unconscious in another room.”

“Mary stabbed herself in the chest, causing the wounds that were found.

“Bruce Jr. was awake when he arrived at the hospital, and he told the investigator that his mother, Mary, was the one who stabbed him.

“At 4:19 in the morning, it was determined that Bruce Jr. had passed away as a result of his injuries.”

It has been claimed that Bruce Sr. has relocated from Oklahoma to Hobbs in the wake of allegations of violence leveled against Mary Johnson, the woman from whom he was planning to divorce.

“The investigation showed that Bruce Sr. moved to Hobbs with his son from Oklahoma and left Mary behind because she was accused of abusing their son,” the police said.

“Bruce Sr. wanted to get a divorce because she abused him and was often violent toward him.

“He told her that it had been about 40 days since she had seen their son, and she had been begging to see him.

After that, Mary moved in with them in Hobbs so that she could spend more time with them before the divorce was officially filed for.

According to the police, reports of abuse were made in Oklahoma but not in New Mexico.

Mary Johnson is currently being charged with first-degree murder while she is still healing in the hospital.
