Texas resident Byron Redmon, 50, shot a woman before the bullet exited her body and ricocheted back to fatally hit him, police said

This past weekend, a guy who is accused of shooting a woman in the neck was murdered when the bullet also struck him, according to Dallas police.
After receiving reports of a shooting at a residence in the city late on Saturday morning, officers from the Dallas Police Department hurried to the scene. According to a press release, the police discovered “a significant quantity of blood as well as a blood trail,” although the apartment itself was unoccupied.
During that time, police also received a report from a neighboring medical complex informing them that a man and woman who appeared to have been shot had been found in a vehicle outside. Both of the victims had evident gunshot wounds. According to the authorities, the woman was able to survive her injuries and was discharged after the male passed away in the hospital.
The shooting was investigated by the police as a case of domestic disturbance and the victim was identified as Byron Redmon, who was 26 years old.
Police suspect Redmon shot the victim in the neck, according to early investigative findings. According to authorities, “the bullet then exited and struck Redmon in the leg.”
The inquiry is still being conducted.
