Soccer player Misael Sanchez tragically dies two weeks after suffering brutal injuries in brawl which involved players and fans

In the horrifying event that took place on July 10, Misael Sanchez, age 29, was reportedly beaten by opposition players as well as fans.
The large-scale battle took place at Oxnard High School, and according to reports, it was sparked by a disagreement over a decision made by the referee.
Sanchez, who is originally from the adjacent city of Port Hueneme, was attacked by a number of individuals and left motionless on the field.
He was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center in an extremely critical state, and that is where he remained for the subsequent fifteen days.
On July 25, however, his family made the devastating announcement that the 29-year-old had passed away.
The cause of his death hasn’t been found yet, but an autopsy is set for July 26.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established by Sanchez’s family, and the initial goal of $20,000 has been met in fewer than 24 hours.

His father Guadalupe wrote on Gofundme page, “It is with a heavy heart to share the passing of our beloved son, Misael Sanchez”.
My family is heartbroken and still in disbelief, as we expected a bright future for him. Misael was assaulted by multiple assailants on July 10, 2022, and left in critical condition.
We were not ready for this type of goodbye. At this time, we are asking for your prayers, and if you can contribute financially, it will be greatly appreciated. The donations will help the family through these hard times.
Thank you for the love, support and prayers.
