Former “Cheer” star and Naperville resident Jerry Harris has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in his child porn case.
Officials found the actor guilty of soliciting sex from children and pressuring young boys to provide him nude images and videos, and he was sentenced on Wednesday.
Harris admitted to bribing a 17-year-old for obscene images and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in the restroom at a cheerleading competition.
In September 2020, two twin boys who are now 14 years old sued Jerry, accusing him of sexual assault.
They claimed Jerry demanded they email him nude images of themselves, sent them sexually explicit texts, and even asked for oral sex from one of them at a cheerleading competition.
He was detained by the FBI in the same month and accused with producing child pornography.
