On November 14, a fake tweet from The Tonight Show went viral on Twitter, leading some online users to believe Jimmy Fallon had passed away. But the star is still doing well.
Jimmy wrote from his official twitter account and ask Elon musk to fix this issue.
Fallon occurred to be another well-known person who was the victim of a celebrity death hoax, which has become a widespread occurrence on the internet.
The rumor of Fallon’s death follows following hoaxes involving other celebrities, such as Tom Holland, Wendy Williams, and others.
On Twitter, fans first began to speculate that Jimmy Fallon had passed away after coming across a post that read: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the demise of late night legend, husband, and father of two, Jimmy Fallon.” In the tweet, the rumor spread that Fallon had died. 1923-2022.”
In addition to that, the tweet featured an old photograph of Jimmy Fallon with his dog.
People believed the phony post since the photo made it appear as though the news came from the Tonight Show’s official account, which led to their falling for the hoax. On the other hand, the actor is still alive and doing well.
