Coroner ruled the death of Kiely Rodni as accidental

A diver’s claim that Kiely Rodni’s passing was’ suspicious’ led to the discovery of the reason for her death.

The findings come after several months have passed since Kiely’s body was found on August 21. This was almost two weeks after she vanished after attending an end-of-the-school-year party in Truckee, California.

On Thursday, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement to the media that read, “The Coroners Division of the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office has ruled that the death of Kiely Mai Rodni was accidental.”

“This decision is based on the pathologist’s report that she drowned and that there was no other evidence to suggest that she was killed by someone else.

“As always, our office will keep working with the family and look at any new information about this investigation.”

As a result, they came to the following conclusion: “We urge that both the media and the public respect the family’s privacy during this terrible time.”
