Cullman County police currently on scene of a reported shooting in the Baileyton community
As a PRECAUTION, Parkside along with all Fairview campuses are keeping students inside while the CCSO investigates.
Update: The shooting incident that occurred earlier in Baileyton was an isolated event and does not pose an immediate danger to the community. The Cullman Sheriff’s Office will maintain a presence in the area to ensure public safety.
A shooting in the Baileyton community is currently being investigated by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
As a precautionary measure, Parkside and all Fairview campuses have decided to keep their students indoors while the investigation is ongoing.
It is important to note that all students are safe and there is no immediate danger, hence this measure is only a precaution.
The subject has been transported to an area hospital for treatment.
