Someone in the community made a threat at Dalton McMichael High School

Dalton McMichael High School principal Mr. Cecil Kemp shared the following statement:
This is your principal Mr. Cecil Kemp. School Safety is a top priority for McMichael High School. In an effort to keep you updated, we wanted to share that a person in the community has made a threat and called this into to Unifi, Inc.
The threat was vague and we do not know a lot of details.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are placing the Western zone schools in lockdown.
Please do not check out students right now as we are not letting anyone in the building and we are operating under our safety protocol until we hear further information from law enforcement.
There is no threat inside the building and all students are safe.
We are working with law enforcement at this time and as soon we have more information- we will share this with you.
Thank you for your continued support as school Safety is a top priority for RCS!
