A dangerous persons notice has been issued by the Spiritwood RCMP for the Witchekan Lake First Nation.
Following a shooting that took place in the neighborhood of Witchekan Lake First Nation, the RCMP in Spiritwood have issued a dangerous persons notice in reaction to the incident.
It is not thought to have any connection to the inquiry being conducted by the James Smith Cree Nation at this time.
The police believe that multiple armed criminals are currently on the loose and could be travelling in a dark red Mustang from the middle of the 2000s.
People who are in the region are being asked by the police to immediately seek shelter or shelter in place and to refrain from leaving a safe location until further notice. They stressed that you should exercise extreme caution when letting other people into your home, and that you should avoid approaching strange people or picking up hitchhikers.
