Police are asking for your help with the investigation. If you know anything, call detectives at 863-494-2222.

The Arcadia Police Department was dispatched to the Fairgrounds shortly after midnight on Saturday in response to a shooting that had taken place there.
Officials have stated that it seems to be an isolated incidence, and that there is no threat to the general population as a result. The Arcadia Police Department is looking into the situation right now.
Daniel Rodriguez Lopez, the victim, has sadly passed away as a result of his injuries.
According to Ashley Beck, a friend of the family, the deceased teen’s mother is devastated and that he is survived by his father and three sisters.
“Who plans to bury their son when he is 17 years old?” Nobody does,” Beck remarked.
The DeSoto County Fair Association stated that the crime scene has been cleaned up and that the midway would not open on Sunday because of the investigation. They had previously indicated that the park was set to open, but it appears that they have altered their schedule.
