The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the two women who were shot and found dead at a Shell gas station as Michaela Daniels, 44, and Felicia Brown, 38, both residents of Dayton.

The incident occurred on Sunday, February 26th at the Shell gas station located on West Third Street.

According to Maj. Brian Johns from the Dayton Police Department, security footage revealed a disturbance at a gas pump involving a black Suburban and a black male wearing a purple ball cap who fled on foot after exiting the back seat of the vehicle.

Although three other vehicles were present at the gas station and an attendant was inside, no one reported the incident to the police. The attendant told the police that they heard gunshots but did not act on it.

According to Maj. Johns, the gas station attendant reported the vehicle to the police around 5 a.m. Afterward, Daniels and Brown were found deceased.

The Dayton Police Department is seeking help from the public and is providing a monetary reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
