Jason Lewis turns himself in for shooting and killing 13-year-old Karon Blake
The suspect in the fatal D.C. shooting of 13-year-old Karon Blake has turned himself in, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Karon Blake, 13, was shot and killed earlier this month by Jason Lewis, a D.C. government employee, according to authorities. Jason Lewis has turned himself into police in connection with the incident.
On the morning of January 7, about four in the AM, Blake was fatally shot in the 1000 block of Quincy Street.
According to the investigators, Lewis had a suspicion that the suspect was breaking into cars parked along the roadway.
Blake had multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead from his injuries.
Jason Lewis works for the D.C government and was put on administrative leave.
