Donald Harry Britt Has Been Captured
Police in Sullivan County, TN are looking for a person of interest they believe is armed and dangerous, and was allegedly involved in a shooting earlier this evening.

Update: Donald Britt was located in Johnson City and is now in custody.
The search for a man considered armed and dangerous following a fatal shooting in Sullivan County Wednesday night has ended. 32-year-old Donald Harry Britt is now in custody. The arrest made following a pursuit in Johnson City, according to Sheriff Jeff Cassidy.
Earlier this evening, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence on Deck Lane in Blountville in reference to an apparent shooting.
At this time, there is an active investigation and investigators are attempting to locate and speak to a person of interest.
According to the sheriff’s office, Britt is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that took place earlier on Wednesday on Deck Lane, which is located off Highway 75 near the Tri-Cities Airport.
The person of interest is identified as Donald Harry Britt, age 32. Donald Britt is six feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.
He is believed to be wearing shorts, a gray hoodie, and no shoes.

Donald Britt could possibly be in a red Chevrolet Camaro or a red Dodge Challenger. Britt is considered armed and should not be approached.
