Eli Rodriguez dies of drug overdose while attending Nocturnal Wonderland festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino
Eli Rodriguez, age 27, passed out as he and his pals were at the Nocturnal Wonderland festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino on Saturday.

After the probable drug overdose death of her son at a well-known music festival in San Bernardino, the mother of the deceased is sharing a message of caution with other mothers and fathers.

Eli Rodriguez, age 27, passed out as he and his pals were at the Nocturnal Wonderland festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino on Saturday.
His mother suspects that he passed away as a result of consuming narcotics during the festival, which may have been laced with a more potent substance. However, an autopsy has not yet been performed to determine the cause of his death and what chemicals were found in his system.
Now that none of her questions have been answered, Marcy Rodriguez is becoming increasingly desperate for information and frustrated by the situation.
I had the impression that I was an outsider peeking into the private affairs of another person about whom I was unable to obtain any information.
This year is the 27th edition of the Nocturnal Wonderland festival, which has been hosted at the park every year since 2013. There will be a variety of electronic music acts, light shows, vendor booths, and other performances at this event.
At the event, deputies responded to an allegation of an overdose, and a man was transferred to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, which confirmed that the incident. It was not immediately possible to obtain further information regarding the probe.
Marcy Rodriguez is keeping her fingers crossed that the inquiry would be exhaustive and look into who supplied the medicines. At this point, neither her son’s friends nor the investigators can provide her with any answers to her questions.
“In all honesty, I want there to be an investigation. However, I would like it to go deeper than only touching the surface of everything. I want it to reach a wider audience than just the distributors and similar entities. because the children and young adults of so many family members are losing their lives as a direct result of the processing of narcotics.”
