Elon Musk subpoenas ex-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in battle with social media giant – despite his previous support

As Elon Musk fights a lawsuit filed by Twitter Inc., which is trying to force him to complete the $44 billion acquisition he proposed, the social media firm has subpoenaed Jack Dorsey, the former chief executive officer of Twitter Inc.
The notice of subpoena was filed on Monday, which was also the day that Musk served notices of subpoenas on the former head of consumer product at Twitter, Kayvon Beykpour, and the former head of revenue product, Bruce Falck.
The filings come at the same time that Musk, who says he backed out of the deal because Twitter didn’t tell him how many of its users are spam accounts and robots, has accused the company of hiding the names of employees who are in charge of figuring out how many of its users are spam accounts and robots.
