Euless Police are investigating a potential threat against Trinity High School. At this time, we are not asking parents to come to the campus to pick up students. Students are safe and have been evacuated to the football field.

Trinity High School email to parents:
Earlier today, we let you know that the Euless Police Department is investigating a threat to Trinity High School. The school was evacuated while law enforcement continued the investigation. At this time, the Euless Police Department has given us permission to return to the school buildings.
Suspects connected with the threat remain in police custody, and school staff are continuing to cooperate with law enforcement investigation of the threat. Please be assured that the district takes threats of this nature very seriously and will work with the local police department and any other authorities in all investigations.
At this time, we plan to complete the school day and dismiss students at the normal time. Students will not go hungry – our HEB ISD child nutrition department has been preparing to provide a meal for Trinity students early this afternoon. We are also preparing to have extra counselors available as needed to speak with students who need support due to today’s events.
(UPDATE at 11:55am) Suspects have been detained and are being interviewed by the Euless Police.
The campus is still being searched and the evacuated students are on the football field. Their needs are being met.
There have been no students injured or harmed. No shots have been fired.
An ambulance was called for a person who needed assistance during the evacuation. The ambulance does not have any connection to the threat investigation.
According to officials, Trinity High School in Euless was forced to be evacuated on Thursday morning as a result of a threat that was received.
On the school’s official Facebook page, it was announced that the local authorities were “looking into a possible threat against Trinity HS.”
According to a notice that was posted on the school’s website, “At this time, we are not inviting parents to come to the campus to pick up students.”
The school said that the students were safely moved to the athletic field and that the situation had been resolved.
