Person injured after accidentally shooting himself at Crabtree Valley Mall
Everyone is safe.

At approximately 8:24 PM, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shot fired call at Crabtree Valley Mall.
The Raleigh Police Department is currently on the scene with Crabtree Valley Mall security and management investigating the incident.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a loud noise of unknown origin caused visitors to move toward safe locations quickly.
An adult male carrying a concealed weapon accidentally shot himself while moving toward safety. He sustained a non- life-threatening injury and was transported to the hospital.
There is no ongoing threat. While the Crabtree Valley Mall remains closed, restaurants remain open.
The mall will operate normally tomorrow.
