False active shooter call at South Charleston High School
A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to a complaint of an active shooter at South Charleston High School.

South Charleston High School on lockdown after reports of an active shooter

Scanner traffic this morning indicated a shooting at South Charleston High School and then, minutes later it appears to have been a false call.
Unfortunately South Charleston area is getting hit with swatting calls that there are shootings at local high schools. South Charleston High was just reported to have an active shooter — it was a fake call.
Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
