False emergency alarm triggered at Framingham High School

It was confirmed that the alarm had been falsely triggered.

An emergency call was placed to the Framingham Police regarding an incident at Framingham High School, prompting an immediate response from officers who arrived at the location.

However, after further investigation, it was confirmed that the alarm had been falsely triggered.

The superintendent says a battery change tripped the active shooter alarm.

Email just sent from FPS:

There is NOT an active shooter at Framingham High School. Students and staff are not in any danger. It was a false alarm. District Administrators and Framingham Police Department are on-site to determine the reason for the alarm.
