18 Wheeler Fire (North Richland Hills) Firefighters are responding to an 18-wheeler fire on eastbound North Loop 820 near just before the 183 split.
The Texas Department of Transportation confirmed lane closures on Highway 820 in North Richland Hills.
The closure occurred Friday afternoon due to a truck fire in the vicinity of Rufe Snow and Denton Highway.
All lanes in the area, including express lanes, were completely closed as firefighters battled the flames.
Officers with the North Richland Hills Police Department indicated that the truck was transporting salt and did not collide with anyone else so they will investigate the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported either.
The area remains closed while they carry out the cleaning work, which could last a few hours.
