An arrest document states that Fatiha Marzan, age 21, is suspected of killing her sister Sayma Marzan, age 20, because Sayma was flirting with Fatiha’s boyfriend.
Sayma Marzan, who was only 20 years old, was reportedly murdered by her older sister, Fatiha Marzan, who was 21 years old.
The murder took place on September 26 around 4:30 in the morning in the bedroom that the siblings shared at the house that their parents owned in Orlando.
Fatiha recently found out that her boyfriend of five years, who she has been in a long-distance relationship with, has been communicating with her sister through a computer game called “Valorant.”
They used to play together quite frequently.
She was reportedly upset when she learned that her lover had told Sayma he loved her.
Fatiha stated that Sayma, her sister, had been attempting to take her lover for a year. “Recently, Fatiha discovered that her boyfriend flirted with Sayma and confessed his love for her,” the Orange County arrest complaint adds.
“Fatiha stated that she had many conversations with Sayma and her boyfriend about how she felt about the connection that they had during the time that she shared her thoughts with them. Sayma, according to Fatiha, never honored her feelings in any way.
Fatiha then made a purchase on Amazon for a “dagger style knife set,” which she hid in her wardrobe until everyone else in her house had gone to bed two weeks before to the incident in which she was stabbed.
According to the police, she reached into the concealed knife she was carrying and allegedly stabbed her sister in the chest three to four times while they were in the bedroom they shared.
A few hours later, around 7:30 in the evening, Fatiha dialed 9-1-1 to report that Sayma had passed away.
After responding to the 911 call, deputies discovered her sister, Sayma, deceased inside their residence.
Fatiha admitted that she was responsible for the crimes and informed the officers that she had stabbed her sister three to four times.
She is being kept in the Orange County jail without the ability to post bond at this time.
