Lockdown at Forest High School has been lifted
Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated at this time, Forest High School is on a lock-down after a firearm was located in a restroom.

Forest High School has been cleared and is now back to normal operations. Deputies are continuing the investigation into the situation.

As a precaution, school officials and law enforcement have placed the students on lock-down until deputies can ensure there are no further threats to the students and staff.

Parents, please do not respond to pick up your child.
School officials and the MCSO will notify parents once everything is clear.
