Jacki Sundheim, who was 63 years old, was one of the six people killed in the shooting at the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois. This was confirmed by her synagogue.
According to a statement released by the North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe, Sundheim had been a member of the congregation for his whole life. He served as a preschool teacher and an events coordinator at the congregation.
The statement said, “There are no words to adequately describe the depth of our grief for Jacki’s passing and sympathy for her family and loved ones. “We know you join us in the most fervent prayer that Jacki’s soul will be bound up in the cover of God’s wings and her family may find some measure of solace and consolation amidst this overwhelming loss,”


According to Dr. Brigham Temple, the medical director of the NorthShore University Health System, a total of 26 people were admitted to Highland Park Hospital.
According to Temple, the ages of the patients ranged from eight years old to eighty-five years old, and four or five of the patients were youngsters. He stated that 19 of the 25 people who were shot had been treated and were later released from the hospital. He went on to say that the victims had been shot in the extremities as well as in more core regions of their bodies.
